Two fantastic clarets at a great price. Ch Puybarbe is Merlot dominated and has a lovely palate of bright cassis and raspberry, notes of cedar and tobacco with gentle tannins. Ch Taillan Lagraave has a warm nose of red fruit and cigar-box-cedar. This is followed by a lovely, gentle palate showing strawberry, ripe red cherry, raspberry and fresh green herbs alondside easy going tannins and just a hint of oak. Delicious!

A wonderful mix of apricot, orange, mango and grapefruit, which leads into a crisp palate. This delicious Burgundy is not dissimilar to Chablis with that minerally oyster shell note.  It is well balanced and very tasty!
